What Does a
Fundraising Volunteer Do?
Fundraising volunteers play a key role in helping Sunny Futures achieve its mission. Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with the planning and organization of fundraising events

Reaching out to local businesses for sponsorships, donations, and prize contributions

Helping coordinate online fundraising campaigns

Promoting events and campaigns through social media and community networks

Assisting with donor outreach and stewardship activities

Supporting grant research and funding opportunities

Helping develop creative fundraising ideas and initiatives

Assisting with event logistics before, during, and after fundraising events
Whether you have experience in fundraising or are simply eager to learn, we welcome individuals with a positive attitude and a desire to make an impact.

We are looking for volunteers to create social media posts and campaigns that highlight our organization’s mission to provide education opportunities to vulnerable youth in Uganda, among other regions.
Ideally we’d have someone join our organization that can take material collected from the field and make impactful posts. Other graphic posts created in Canva is something we’re keen on as well!

Interested in creating meaningful content? We have a spot for you!
We need a content creator for our website and social media accounts, ideally those interested in crafting country-specific (Uganda, Tanzania, and Ghana) content around themes related to our organization.
